We're a growing property maintenance and refurbishment company in central Edinburgh and we're looking to expand our team. The job will involve attending rental properties managed by the letting agency with which we are associated, carrying out various tasks in order that these are maintained to the highest possible standards on behalf of their clients. As well as working as part of our renovations team refurbishing properties to a high standard. You should be a bright, articulate individual with a wide range of practical skills, able to turn your hand to most things and to reinforce the professional image of our company when meeting tenants, landlords, contractors and suppliers.



Maintenance Tasks currently covered -

* installing kitchens and bathrooms

*replacing light switches, sockets, light fittings, extractor fans etc.

* installing, testing and replacing smoke and CO detectors

* deliver, install, remove and uplift white goods

* carrying out normal user maintenance on appliances

* replacing door locks, fitting/adjusting door closers

* replacing window sash-cords

* regrouting, replacing silicone seals

* small tiling jobs

* replacing shower screens/curtains/rails

* replacing tap washers and taps

* minor painting and decorating

* repairing furniture

* delivering and assembling furniture

* delivering stock items (eg, small appliances)

* fitting and removing 'To Let/For Sale' boards

* minor gardening jobs



We hope you'll be able to tackle most of these right from the start. This list is by no means exhaustive, but a good starting place. We will be able to provide limited training. If on the other hand you are some kind of multitrade ninja, we can adapt to make best use of your abilities.



We will expect you to

* be able to show recent, relevant experience

* have a full clean UK driving licence

* have a good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh

* be well-organised and able to prioritise

* have excellent written and spoken English

* be a competent computer user

* have a flexible, can-do attitude

* be well presented

* have your own basic tools
